Cancellation Policy

French guinea fowl are some of the hardiest birds around since they handle a wide variety of climates and don't struggle from many of the diseases that chickens do. However, baby guinea are pretty fragile and need to be monitored closely. If something comes up that prevents you from accepting your order, that's OK. Just let us know here or by using the order form below. It's helpful if you include your order number.

If we do not have enough time to process your request, we may not be able to cancel your order in time.

We need to know within two business days of the hatch date of your order if you need to cancel it. This is because the order packing slips are printed out and lined up at the hatchery a day or two before the orders are boxed up. If you cancel an order the same day the order is to be shipped we may not be able to stop the order from being shipped. It involves a lot of running out to the hatchery to yell at somebody not to box up an order that is 40 orders deep on a stack somewhere. Because of this we need two business days to cancel your order Business days will be considered every day except Sunday. If you notify us with less than two business days until your order is shipped, we cannot guarantee that your order will be canceled. We will try our best to accommodate your situation but if your order doesn’t get canceled and leaves the hatchery, we cannot provide a refund although our safe arrival guarantee still applies. It will be your responsibility to have the order picked up at the post office.

If you do cancel your order and have more than two business days until your order is shipped, we can gladly cancel your order and give you a full refund.

Please do not cancel your order by disputing your credit card charges as this costs us extra fees and impacts our willingness to work with you in the future.
